What's out of scope?

Licensed electrical and plumbing (past taps and cisterns), gas, and structural work. We'll flag anything on your list that needs a licensed trade.

How much fits in two hours?

Typically six to ten small jobs if the materials are on hand. Send the list when you book and we'll tell you if it needs longer.

Do you supply materials?

Common fixings, silicone and sealants are on the ute at cost. Specific hardware — pick it up beforehand or add a supply run to the clock.

What moves the price / fixed, inc GST

Odd jobs are booked by the hour with a two-hour minimum, so the list itself is the price.

01How long the list is — Booked by the hour, so the list decides the price. Two hours covers a lot of small jobs when the materials are on hand.
02Trips to the hardware shop — A supply run comes off the clock. Having the right screws, silicone or hardware ready is the cheapest time you can buy.
03What is on the walls — Hanging on plasterboard, brick and a cavity are three different jobs with three different fixings.
04Access and height — A high ceiling, a tight hallway or a second-storey window takes longer than the same job at floor level.
05Anything needing a licensed trade — Electrical, gas and plumbing past taps and cisterns come off the list, and knowing early saves the visit.

One trip, one list
The list is what makes this work. A morning of small jobs is a route rather than a pile, and the order is yours. Jobs that need the same tools and the same wall get grouped so the ladder goes up once.
Anything needing a part nobody has on the ute turns into a supply run, and that time is on the clock. Sending the list ahead means the common fixings come out with us instead.

Why small jobs are worth batching
Almost every small job has a setup: drop sheet, ladder, tools, power. Doing six of them in one visit pays that setup once instead of six times, which is why a booked block beats six separate call-outs.
It also gets the awkward ones done. The door that sticks, the silicone gone black, the smoke alarm that keeps chirping — all ten-minute jobs that never quite make it onto a weekend.

Where the list has to stop
Some jobs need a licensed trade, and that is not a limitation to work around. Electrical work beyond a globe or a battery, gas, and plumbing past taps and cisterns are out of scope, and structural work is a different trade again.
Flagging those on the list before the visit means the time booked goes to work that can actually be finished.

The list is what makes an hourly visit work, so send it ahead.

01Write the list down and send it with the booking, with photos where a job is hard to describe.
02Put the materials and hardware in one place — brackets, screws, globes, the new lock.
03Say which jobs matter most so the time goes where you want it.
04Move furniture away from the walls where things will be hung.
05Flag anything that might need a licensed trade so it can be planned around.
06Keep a parking spot clear for the ute on the day.
