How much fits in a load?
A trailer load is about 2.5 m³ of light general waste. When in doubt, book one load — we confirm on site before loading more. Bigger clear-outs go in a 15 m³ tipper, quoted on weight.
Can you clear a deceased estate or full shed?
Yes — multi-load jobs are what the per-load pricing is for. Book two loads and we'll quote the rest on site.
What moves the price / fixed, inc GST
Rubbish is priced per trailer load, including the loading and the tip fees, with heavy material weighed separately.
- 01How much there is — Priced per trailer load, so the volume decides it. A load is about 2.5 cubic metres of light general waste.
- 02What it is made of — Green waste and light hard rubbish are straightforward. Concrete, soil and bricks are heavy and are weighed at the tip.
- 03Where the pile is — A pile at the kerb and the same pile behind a shed are a different day's work.
- 04Trailer access — A narrow driveway, a steep block or a rear lane decides how much has to be carried by hand.
- 05Disposal — The booked load price includes loading and the tip fees, and receipts are kept on file so the disposal is documented.

Where the waste actually ends up
Everything leaves on the trailer and goes to a licensed facility, weighed in and receipted. Nothing is dumped, burned or left in a laneway, and the receipts stay on file if anyone ever asks where it went.
That matters more than it sounds. Illegal dumping is a real cost carried by the ratepayer, and a removal job that cannot show where the waste went is not a job done properly.

What a load is, and what is not
A trailer load is light general waste: furniture, timber, garden cuttings, whitegoods, e-waste, the contents of a shed. Volume fills it rather than weight, which is why old mattresses and a pile of bricks are not the same job.
Heavy material — concrete, soil, tiles, brick — is weighed at the tip and priced as its own thing. Larger clear-outs go to a tipper, quoted on weight rather than guessed.

The things nobody can take
Asbestos, liquid chemicals and paint are not general waste and are not something any removal crew should be loading onto a trailer. Those have dedicated disposal channels in South Australia.
If a pile contains something that cannot be taken, it stays behind and the rest goes. Better to know that before loading starts than halfway through it.
Before you book
A photo of the pile is the fastest way to get the load right.
- 01Walk the pile and photograph it, so the load can be judged before the day.
- 02Separate anything hazardous — paint, chemicals, asbestos — because those are not general waste.
- 03Point out what is staying, so a keep pile does not end up on the trailer.
- 04Clear a path from the pile to where the trailer can park.
- 05Tell us if there is a lot of green waste, because it is a different tip stream.
- 06Have someone on site to say what goes, or mark the pile clearly.
